Jennifer Miles Owner of Summit Family Mediation
Who we are
Jennifer is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, Family Mediation Council accredited all issues mediator and Professional Practice Consultant.
Jennifer practised all areas of family law in established law firms for nearly twenty years representing clients both in and out of the courts.
As a result of her insight and belief in alternative dispute resolution Jennifer qualified independently as a family mediator through Resolution in 2012.
Over the following three years Jennifer undertook family mediation alongside practicing family law until 2015 when she moved into family mediation full time.
Jennifer has worked with separated and separating couples as well as extended family members, She has undertaken family mediation with up to five clients in a single session.
Jennifer is fortunate to have worked with individuals of different nationalities and cultures, including individuals who do not speak English as a first language.
She has also worked with members of the LGBTQ+ community.
Jennifer’s cases have included those with modest to significant assets involving companies and pensions.
Having qualified as a Professional Practice Consultant in 2018 Jennifer mentors and supports newly qualified and experienced mediators.
